Subject: RE: Mix and Match...form your own group! From: GUEST Date: 23 Dec 04 - 05:37 PM Percussion can only be Martin Brinsford. Fiddles, Flos Headford, Paul Burgess Melodeon gets difficult. I find John K can be a bit overpowering in a group so go for Rod Stradling Have I seen this line up somewhere before? |

Subject: RE: Mix and Match...form your own group! From: Jerry Rasmussen Date: 23 Dec 04 - 07:40 PM Jimmy Durante and Mae West on vocals, Sal Mineo on drums, Steve McQueen on lead guitar and Crazy Legs Hersch on rhythm guitar. Might not sound all that great, but they'd sure be fun to watch... Jerry |
Subject: RE: Mix and Match...form your own group! From: Dead Horse Date: 24 Dec 04 - 12:21 AM My Dream Team Cajun Band. Ray Abshire - Accordion. Because he's my favourite cajun accordionist at present. Mitch Reed - Fiddle. Really nice fella. Plays real good too. Courtney Grainger - Fiddle. Great *heart* for the music. Greg Stephens - Guitar. Because he is a nice guy, and deserves to play with the best. Me - Tee'fer. Ditto ;-) I would also have a few folks *sit in* for the odd number. Folks like Bobby Michot + Randy Vidrine - guitar & vocals, Steve Riley + Dirk Powell - accordion, Michael Doucet + Kevin Wimmer - fiddles. Christine Balfa, for when my arm gets tired....... All the above still living. Now, if I could resurrect a few folks............... |
