Subject: RE: BS: Katlaughing Need Good Thoughts From: katlaughing Date: 07 Jan 05 - 11:51 PM My good and dear friends, one and all..I am gaining strength and had a good go at the doc's, yesterday. I see the cardio on the 17th and will know more then, but for now all things are stable. The good news is I am 23 lbs lighter (20 of it was water!) and 4 pints up on blood.:-) I know this is in large part due to the walking pharmacy which I have become BUT I ALSO KNOW it is because of YOU. I have a lot more to say, but will save it for a stronger day and maybe a new thread. IN the meantime, please allow this blanket THANK YOU FROM THE DEPTHS OF MY HEART to suffice and may I beg of you a few more drams, naught fer yer livers, but fer my heart. I love the woods but these ones I'd just as soon leave behind. Please also think of Rog and Rue...they've been sore stressed, even perhaps more than m'self. I love you all and there is nothing like that Mudcat Light! kat |
Subject: RE: BS: Katlaughing Need Good Thoughts From: Stilly River Sage Date: 07 Jan 05 - 11:58 PM Wow! The lady herself is finally able to report back! And a long strange trip it has been, eh? I hope you're resting up, and have a comfy chair from which to wield your keyboard. A few friends will be [virtually] calling now they know you're up. SRS |
Subject: RE: BS: Katlaughing Need Good Thoughts From: JennyO Date: 08 Jan 05 - 12:06 PM may I beg of you a few more drams Anything for you Kat - happy to oblige. Someone left some James Squire ale at my barbeque tonight, and it really is in need of being drunk. Jenny (hic) |

She has a follow up visit on Friday with a doctor. We will see... Meantime, she is grateful for all the positive thoughts coming from Mudcat. I have to admit, this time she had me scared. Subject: RE: BS: Katlaughing Need Good Thoughts From: Alba Date: 15 Jan 05 - 12:14 PM Right there with you Kat Darlin. Good to see you post and kind of you to do so when you feel so depleted. It is appreciated. Hope all goes well with the Doc. I wish this was something that could be fixed and over with quickly but.... Just think how good it will feel when all this strife is over ma Love. My itchy fingers are twitching and I may have to dial your number before I go away on Wednesday to Danish Land.. You don't need to talk, I am very good at that..lol....so maybe Monday? TAKE IT REALLY EASY....yes I am telling you what to do....:>) please.... Till then you are, as always, in my Thoughts. Light and Love and Healing Wishes Blessings Jude |
Subject: RE: BS: Katlaughing Need Good Thoughts From: wysiwyg Date: 15 Jan 05 - 12:25 PM I see you auto-sorting good energy from non-useful energy and assuredly, relaxedly gaining strength. It doesn't matter how long it takes-- it's all forward, upward, positive, usable. All is well. ~S~ |
Subject: RE: BS: Katlaughing Need Good Thoughts From: katlaughing Date: 18 Jan 05 - 05:03 PM Just a quick update while I'm feeling fit: good news from the kidney specialist...she's says they are okay and of only minor concern should it come to surgery. That is a HUGE relief. Next step is the pulmonary specialist, then the cardio to talk about having valves replaced in m' old ticker. I still hope it won't come to that, BUT I am willing if it is necessary and will improve life. Thanks, again, for all of your kindnesses, phone calls, cards, etc. At least energy-wise, the Getaway seems it could be a real goal this year! luvyakat |
Subject: RE: BS: Katlaughing Need Good Thoughts From: Big Mick Date: 18 Jan 05 - 05:09 PM So do I have to keep drinking to your health. I mean, I do love ya and all. And lord knows I have had a wonderful relationship with Guinness. But I now have to travel two counties east to get it as I have drained most of it here. Mick (hiccup) |

Subject: RE: BS: Katlaughing Need Good Thoughts From: Bert Date: 18 Jan 05 - 06:24 PM A flat level camp! That will take all the fun out of it Bill. |
Subject: RE: BS: Katlaughing Need Good Thoughts From: Jeri Date: 18 Jan 05 - 06:50 PM As for the Getaway and 'Camp Escher', Mick makes a good taxi driver. As for organs, your kidneys are probably in way better shape than Mick's liver. As for me, you have my love and my wishes for the best possible way to get you in the best possible health. Take it easy and take care of yourself, lady. Love, Moi |
