Due to Mudcat crashing all the time, our own Dear Sir jOhn is having great difficulty getting on the thing. So he asked me to start a thread concerning the upcoming next Hull Flock session at THE MARLBOROUGH CLUB, NEWSTEAD STREET - THURSDAY 3RD FEB.

I think I've slipped through a worm hole in the fabric of space and time and entered a parallel universe ...

Which would make it the second time that's happened today ... just got back from a gig which started with a vote to elect a chairman. The evenings music was "item 6 on the agenda" ... which was the first time I've heard a band introduced on stage with the words "Well now we have item 6 on the agenda".

Strange but true.

It was Barnsley ....

Just a reminder that for anyone who wants a lift, HULL SMOKING CLUB'S Fiat Scud will be leaving Chanterlands avenue at 8.02pm(approx) arriving at HULL FLOOK CLUB, Newstead street at 8.05pm(approx) oh.... maybe I should just walk there...

I don't believe jOhn is incommunicado. I've read a lot of his posts and I will believe he is incoherant, intoxicated, incorrigable, indefagitable, and several other places I won't mention.

Where is communicado anyway?

Well, he wasn't incommunicado till a few days ago, at least as far as posting on Mudcat.

Although few in number, we were entertained with a new original song from Mr Warton, Love the silver highlights Martin! His Highness Sir JOhn did attend, and after the usual felicitations, he announced that he is "on strike" and will not post here anymore! Time will tell.

Saw jOhn yesterday. He is still eating and has a cheerful disposition despite having been banned from 'thread involvment' for two whole days. He has shaved off his beard and looked a little pale from his recent experience but assures me that life goes on. He is overwhelmed at the responce of Mudcat members who are desperately missing him. He is a good man.
