Well, folks, if it ain't one thing it's another. This is your official twelve day warning for the next BIG BARROW session, to be held at the Six Bells, Barrow on Humber, on Tuesday 8th February, to coincide with the half term in Hull, so the young ones can come. The enthusiasm and music for these sessions have been first class, and of course, you are all most welcome to make the evening another great success. BUT..... there is another reason for making the pilgrimage - Jo the landlady will be leaving in March, and of course we don't know how the new licensee will react to us. So this MIGHT just be the last BIG Barrow session. Let's hope not, but come and make sure it's stormer anyway. Who's up for it?

Any chance of inviting the new landlord - it might help convince him/her that the Tuesdaynighters are worth keeping if only on commercial grounds...?

Me too....missed the other two I planned coming to through a trip abroad and illness...hope not to miss this....Oh, and bring some cash with you as I'm looking for sponsors for a "Firewalk"   ie, 20' over coals burning at 1236f!..to put that into perspective...alluminium melts at 1100f and paper ignites at 541f. Raising money for St Barnanas Hospices for the terminally ill on the 11th February in Lincolns fair City.

Alas will miss this one.Daughter would rather go to session than Centre Parks,but I need a holiday.Glad to hear Blokes cough is better,about time.Where will we ever find a landlady who makes the younger players so welcome.

I'll be delighted to pass your felicitations, Wilfied. I was talking to Jo last week about the Eurogathering, and she reckons that in the twelve hour shift she did single handed on the Sunday, she could remember every drink!

Another excellent BIG BARROW SESSION, with our young friends from the north bank adding so much to the pleasure.
An important and very positive piece of news is that Jo, the landlady who is leaving in March, has secured the PEL for another year, and has promised to explain to the incoming landlord that the Tuesday session is of great benefit - so with any luck there WILL be another big Barrow session, at Easter this time, and of course I'll be giving out dates nearer the time.
Hope to see many friends, old and new, at the regular Tuesday sessions as well.
