A lot of Louis Prima's material consisted of jazz/pop standards and novelty tunes(with the Louis touch), then Neopolitan tunes, and his own specialty numbers--I've got to go out right now, but I'll post Just a Gigolo/I Ain't got Nobody when I get back--It may be a tomorrow before I get the other two--Don't forget "The Sheik of Araby"--

There is one measure, meaning four counts, played as four downstrokes, between each "/ /"--Twice through JAG then jump to IAGN--If you aren't familiar with this type of chord chart, you can play it simply by counting out the measures--you'll be able to tell where the melody/lyrics go, if you know them, and even if you don't you can still play the chords exactly as they should be--

First time as a slow tango, then a Louis Prima style scat segue, then repeat, but with a quick, straight four swing tempo--

Angelina is simple-- tonic to dominant (C to G7), then does the same in F (F to C7), then in Gm (D7 to Gm) F again, then back to C. Then moves to D for Cella luna which is a simple three major chord song( D A7 G)--It is easy enough if you can play a solid Tarentella rhythm, and then (as in every Prima Neopolitan tune) pop into a swing tempo--

I didn't write the chords out because, although they are simple, the Tarentella has lots of little beats in each measure and it is painstaking work to count it out right(read: I keep having to go back and count them out again and again, and never get it to come out right)--simple enough to follow by ear, though--

Louis Prima and Keely Smith were the originals--an older, vain buffoon with a young, attractive, wife who constantly nails him with deadpan putdowns--well, maybe it came from Moliere, but Louis and Keely were the first to do it in Vegas--
