hello all!

Im studying at uni in glasgow and have had no time to find sessions since being here. now suffering from deprivation, does anyone know where any are? Im living near Byers Road.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Try The Victoria Bar (Vickys) near the Clyde on Friday nights or the Nevis Bar in the West End on Sunday nights - the latter is not far from Byers Road.

Thu 9pm Uisge Beath Woodlands Road
Fri 9-30pm Victoria Bar Briggait(down town)

Singing sesh (singaround) at Cafe Source in Saint Andrews in the Square on Wednesday evenings
Monday nights at Lauries Bar (Parnie Street and King Street - Merchant City)

And btw Uisge Beatha is even closer to Byres Road than the Ben Nevis...

I can recommend the Lismore as I've been there a few times. Very friendly bunch and they let me join in although I was from out of town. And it should be very close to you - right off the Byers Road, as I recall. Check with the pub to see what nights sessions are on.

Jude, you're sure to be welcome at the singing session at Cafe Source in Saint Andrews in the Square on Wednesday evenings that Scabby Douglas mentioned. It's actually underneath the church, in Merchant City. Stephen, can you give Jude the name of the street, please?
