well, I wasn't gonna say it unless he ok'd it...

note..Dick was out and about last weekend, being CAMSCO and joining in some singing here in the DC area. He has not felt tip-top in awhile, and they finally decided that 'some' blockage was the problem.

I firmly expect this to bring him right back up to his usual state of having more energy than most folks half his age..*grin*...(he has always been one of the last to quit singing at 3AM at the Getaway!)

Not a lot of fun, but it seems to be fairly routine these days. There are three people in my immediated circle who have had bypass surgery recently and they're all back to normal and doing fine.

Positive thoughts are on the way, Dick. having been through it last April, I have some idea of your feelings. The aftereffects are not that enjoyable, and the whole procedure a bit of a pain, but definately preferable to the alternative. If your recovery is like mine was, you'll be in decent shape for NEFFA, and in fine form by the time the Getaway comes along. I haven't felt this good in years. It was one year ago on February 2nd that I had that procedure done. It is almost routine these days, and you will feel younger after you heal. (You won't be, but you will feel like it)

Best wishes, Dick. Alarming though this always sounds to me, it seems to be regarded as a routine procedure these days. Last friend who had it done didn't even need to go into intensive care after the op. That was just before Xmas and he's hoping to go back to work soon.
