Mike I have no intention of getting into an discussion with you (with respect) about what my Beliefs are.
If you are asking me have I ever prayed to a Christian interpretation of God...then yes I did when I was a Child.
I do try not to tell Lies. White or Black or Grey ones!.
I am a practising Pict Witch and have been for a very long time. My beliefs may touch other beliefs in the respect of Doing no Harm, caring for my fellow Human beings, Animals and Planet and trying to do good when I can. I am far from Perfect and at times, yes, my Energies get low....I however have a different way of dealing with that situation from say Dewey (who this thread is actually about...not my beliefs)..
So I hope that this is HONEST:>) enough for you. Although I cannot see what your interest is in asking me but since you asked me nicely I have replied.
I have many Friends from many different beliefs and I respect them and would hopefully refrain from pushing my Spiritual Path ahead of theirs.
Whatever works for your Spirit...and I can HONESTLY say that my Path has NEVER failed me.

The Truth is how you interpret it.....that's the beauty of us all be individuals. We all hold our own Truth and walk our own Path.
I have lied to myself though. I said that I would never get into a discussion openly in this forum about my personal Spiritual beliefs.....and now I have. It ends here.

Gsilver, enough! You are perilously close to preaching to Alba. You asked her "honestly", she answered you honestly, & you have the cheek to repeat your question. So are you calling her out as a liar, on the basis of her first answer?

She might have prayed to *your* god once, she quite obviously doesn't now. Why are you seeking some sort of leverage? That is preaching in my book - trying to twist someone's words/feelings/views against them so that they will believe what you would like them to. In my experience, only monotheists (christers & muslims, generally, judaists don't normally seek converts) take this attitude. Pagans leave well alone. Perhaps you should think about that?

For myself, I believe you are in the hands of your Lord. I just don't believe that your Lord is all that you believe. You can scrub omniprescient, omnipowerful, & pure goodness, for a start. Which leaves your arguments as to why you are the only right just a little weak, methinks...
