Subject: This land of ours From: gardner@aecom.yu.edu Date: 03 Dec 98 - 08:53 PM Can anyone direct me to the words of a pleasantly patriotic song about Canada (written, I think, by Oscar Brand) with a chorus having the last line "Something to sing about, this land of ours"? Many thanks. |
Subject: RE: This land of ours From: Ciaran Date: 04 Dec 98 - 12:47 PM I don't know if it's the same song, but there was a thread in October that mentioned Something To Sing About. If you set a 90 day filter for 'Somthing' (leave out the 'e') then you'll find it.

It was the theme music for a (Canadian, obviously) travelogue kind of TV show in the early 70's, which was I called, I think either "Something to sing about" WHICH i'M PRETTY SURE IS THE TITLE OF THE SONG, or "This Land." That much I remember. Now I feel pretty gray. Bill
