In 1975 I recorded a cassette of a live performance. The cassette was called For My Part recorded by C.Hawkins as Mount Recordings. I think it was part of a series called The Black Horse.

Does anyone know what happened to the guy who ran the company or where he might be contacted? If you have any details about this, please leave a message here - thanks!

Whilst posting - I'm also delighted to let everyone know that the 2nd of my two Plant Life albums was released on CD two weeks ago.
Details can be found on my site at http://www.rosiehardman.com/rosie.htm

Can't help with the info you want, Rosie, but I'm posting so it'll come back to the top in the hope someone else may notice it and be able to help.

Thanks Joan. Looks like I've drawn another blank on this one though. :-(

nearly lost this thread!

I remember you Rosie from very many years ago when I believe you were quite young and you were booked at Whitby folk festival in the 1970s. In particular one session when you were in the company of the late Tony Rose and John Pashley

Many years later I went to see you at a folk club, I dont remember where but what stuck in my mind was your appreciation of Barry Manilow!! I believe that you had written a song for him!

Smoking in folk clubs was another issue and I am pleased to say that many clubs now have a no smoking ban. I recently compered at afestival next to a smoker, a good friend, but could hardly raise a note later!

I hope you track down your recordings and I am sure that you have many fans who would like to keep this link going as an appreciation of your talent
Best of luck
Ray Padgett

Thanks so much ~Ray - May 2011 and I'm still searching!

Yep - I did and DO love Manilow's stuff - and I wrote a number of songs about him. :-)
