Villain pm'd me with a valid point.

In my original message, it does appear that there will be no availability to purchase tickets on the night. My response follows:

I am hoping that, on the night, we will have sold out. If not, then there will be tickets available on the door. This is a particularly 'cosy' venue (70 seats and up to 20 standing) and I intend to only issue 70 tickets.
I am trying to avoid too many disappointed people turning up on the night without first contacting me to ensure availability.

Thanks. Dave.

Dang! And here I thought it was going to be in Derby, Connecticut, where I live!

Maybe next time...

Jerry

Villan, I'll spell your name right this time!
Spoke to Mick at the National last weekend, should get a plug in next week's show. Free tickets unlikely (due to the capacity of the venue).

Jerry, There are times when I wish Derby U.K. was in Connecticut too! But not often. :-)

Dave.

Hard times, Hard times, Come again no more...

Is it true that Radiohead developed their musical style and clearly their name after an early encounter at a Strawhead gig?

Update.

Contrary to my earlier comments to/with villan. Ticket sales have gone so well, that I do not expect to have any available on the door. The few tickets that have not yet been reserved, can be reserved by contacting me as described at the start of the thread.

Additionaly I will be present at the Belper Folk Club, Old kings Head, Belper on Tuesday, and at the Derby Heritage Traditional Music Club, Derby Gaol, Agard St. on Thurday.

Beyond then, I would be very surprised if there are any tickets left. But, do feel free to contact me.

Dave.

Step up young man, I know your face. It's nothing in your favour...
