I'm not even familiar with the original, let alone the parody.

I'm guessing it's LETTERS FROM HOME, written by Tony Lane and David Lee, and recorded by John Michael Montgomery. (Click here to see the lyrics and hear a low-fidelity recording.) Is that the one?

Can you quote any lines from the parody?

As another approach, you might see whether WMZQ posts its playlists. (Their website seems to be down right now, but it should be http://www.wmzqfm.com/.)

Thanks Jim Dixon, but that IS the original.   Rhyan Jones, Assoc. Producer of Ben & Brian in the Morning at WMZQ, EMailed me that the song I heard is called "Lettuce Fron Home" played back in July (?)
[I heard it about 3 weeks ago].   And that the lyrics weren't available. He said to give him a ring some morning at 800-255-0098 and they maybe they can get it on. Unfortunately, I am located in Warsaw, Virginia [some 110 miles from D.C.] and can't get WMZQ on my radio.   Maybe some kind soul could call them and gove a listen and scribble some of the lyrics?   Thanks.
