Hey chaps we are having an evening in aid of Cyril Tawney at the Windward club on Friday 20th May, we already have Johnny Collins plus the regulars but are looking for more performers who would like to show their appreciation to one of the real legends of the folk world.

Can we count on a contingent from Barton supporting this aid evening for his widow Rosemary?

Start 7.30 ends 11.30 if not later!

at the Duke of Marlborough
St Albans

I'ld like as many performers as poss to support the memory of Cyril

he played our club in Nov 2002 and it was an unforgettable evening, finished at 2.00 a.m !!

It was good - it was just Bert, Pat, Phil & me and Cathy was the audience

Since Mr Blues doesn't come anymore, we just sing what we like

Bert's got a really nice PA system & it's interesting to do some folk/contemporary stuff with volume

Thanks everyone
