Thanks for posting this. I enjoyed it.

When I read about Bernie's taste in fine wines, I can't help thinking about the attorney I used to work for. He used to eat a pastrami sandwich with cherry pop for lunch.

I couldn't believe that he was overworking himself and neglecting his family in order to live like that.

Frishberg is a fine pianist and a great lyricist, very inventive. I remember hearing him play one song with about umpteen verses, every line ending in a word that (some by the furthest stretch of imagination) rhymed with Paris. For anyone interested in clever lyrics, I highly recommend him...he's got a great voice for his songs, also...reminds me in a lot of ways of Randy Newman.
