May I offer my appreciation also. The Mudcat has grown into something very special over the five or six years I've been a memeber (despite the occasional silly spats) and very many strong and lasting friendships have grown from it. Long may I thrive I hope.

It occurred to me yesterday that it just *might* be the end of Mudcat, and then realized just how great a loss that would be, not just for me, but (probably much moreso) for many many folks around the world.

What a relief to see things patched back together this morning! I'm sure there might be a few glitches ~ nothing I've encountered yet, but I've read a few monor complaints ~ but I know we'll work around them.

I just got back from five and a half days of not touching a computer keyboard let alone the Internet, and when I went away Mudcat seemed to be off more than on. I come back and everybody's so happy and eager to congratulate Max and I don't know what he did. But it looks like it's working. I won't be able to send money till July, but I'll send a chunk then. (July being a month with three paydays, I catch up on my dues then.)

Mudcat is one of my most treasured resources, so whatever you did Max, thanks! And thanks for all the years of effort prior to this point. Etc.

Max, I vary in how often I am here, but find it such a great place to track down a song or idea (as my Dad used to say, "in your usual role as procuress"); I had no idea how bereft I would be when it was not here, and how delighted it was back!
