I can't find the words for this great old song anywhere. I used to hear Washboard Hank and the Honkers perform this in Peterborough, ON, about fifteen years ago. It popped into my head the other day, and refuses to leave.

I just found it on a Maddox Brothers & Rose compilation on the Proper label, it's the title track. Should be easily available here in the UK anyway.
