Ah! The Squeak.Thanks for that,love! Playing it felt like wearing an appliance at times, so thats why we dropped it.I now play jug, fiddle and mandolin when they let me. Typical! the websight's been up and running a week and is out of date! You just can't get the staff.

The Ugly Mug Jug Band website continues to develop, but Google searches still don't bring it up. We "registered" with Google and filled in some mysterious meta-tab boxes (?), probably badly. Still no luck. Does anyone have successful experiences to share? All tips gratefully received.

Hello Mudcats.
Now I understand that those of us who have web sites and would like people to find them have a telling ruse. It seems that the trick is to guide search engines to our sites by having links to them from other sites. Our site has a good list of links; if a few of their owners should choose to reciprocate, then the UMJB site would enjoy a healthy number of hits. Now all you good folks out there know what to do. Just add a link from your site to www.umjb.org.uk and we are likely to respond in kind. Thus we shall spread the word: good music matters. Thanks to all.
