King Rollo can be heard live on Radio Lincolnshire from 6:15pm to 6:30pm tomorrow (Wednesday) on the Rod Whiting Show, followed by Rod's weekly folk programme presented by Tom Lane and Mark Addison.

If you can't get it on the radio, you can get it on the Internet, by clicking on the following link and then clicking on the BBC LOCAL RADIO Listen Live button on the bottom right hand side of the webpage.

Is anybody going on Friday apart from Rockhen and myself?

Will be there with Mrs Twangler
unfortunately little legs Twangler and her mum will be exhausted after the return to school so I doubt they will be there.
Thinks "must go to the web site to see who is playing".
Oh great TBA are on I saw them at another venue and they were great.

What an outstanding evening. Excellent music from all performers. An audience of over 40 :-) The number of people attending and living in Faldingworth seems to be getting bigger, which is very encouraging.

New comfortable seats for the next evening. The Committee of Faldingworth Village Hall voted to buy new seating. I can only thank them very much.

The next event on September the 23rd will be in aid of Lupus.
For those who want to know more please visit this website.
http://www.lupusuk.org.uk/qanda.asp
All door takings less expenses will go to Lupus.
Entrance will be £3

Glad it went well, Les. You have done very well to get so much local support in such a short time. Looking forward to trying out the new chairs on 23rd!

Thanks Sooz. Its not me is it. Its the quality of the performers. They should all take the credit. Dave has done a lot to encourage the yocals.
I managed to do a good plug for John Conolly and Pete Sumners next Friday at the Gainsborough Folk Club at the Drovers Call. Looking forward to that.

...and to think I worried about THAT song, Ian...Gwenda's was far ruder! I agree, Ian, about being made welcome, it makes all the difference, if good music is backed up by a friendly and supportive atmosphere. That was certainly the case on Friday night.
Looking forward to playing at the club next time with the 'girls' of WWW.
