Subject: RE: Market Rasen Folk Club Fri Sept 9th 2005 From: Rasener Date: 10 Sep 05 - 04:14 AM Thanks Sooz. Its not me is it. Its the quality of the performers. They should all take the credit. Dave has done a lot to encourage the yocals. I managed to do a good plug for John Conolly and Pete Sumners next Friday at the Gainsborough Folk Club at the Drovers Call. Looking forward to that. |

Subject: RE: Market Rasen Folk Club Fri Sept 9th 2005 From: Rasener Date: 10 Sep 05 - 06:18 PM Thanks Ian. I really enjoyed Shoot The Crow floorspot. Nice mix of instruments as well. It bleneded very well with the other performers. |
Subject: RE: Market Rasen Folk Club Fri Sept 9th 2005 From: Rockhen Date: 10 Sep 05 - 08:31 PM ...and to think I worried about THAT song, Ian...Gwenda's was far ruder! I agree, Ian, about being made welcome, it makes all the difference, if good music is backed up by a friendly and supportive atmosphere. That was certainly the case on Friday night. Looking forward to playing at the club next time with the 'girls' of WWW. |
