Just realised that there is NO publicity on here for CMR , who are doing a short (ONLY THREE DATES) American tour .
    For the uninitiated , CMR are Moira Craig ,Sarah Morgan , and Carolyn Robson , and they Sing In Wonderful Harmony !

      17 th September is a house concert for the Folk Society of Greater Boston .

      20 th is another house concert at Judy Cook's place which is Washington DC area !

      And the 23 rd and 24 th they are doing TWO concerts at the Madison County art Sanctuary in North Carolina .

      If you enjoy GOOD harmony singing , these are dates well worth noting !

They are doing a house concert at Westhaven in York, Maine this Sunday. I, alas, cannot manage to be there. (Damn!)

I just want to endorse everything that has been said. Not only are they amazing singers with stunning harmonies and superb songs, but they are really friendly and very good company, with a very good sense of humour ( I suppose you have to have knowing people like Leadfingers and me!!!. Travel as far as you have to, to see them, they are not to be missed... unless you have a note from your mum...

Seems a long way from the Whitby Rifle Club to Washington DC!

I heard them for the first time this summer and was very impressed. They are also great teachers and I enjoyed a couple of their harmony singing workshops as well.

1) are any mudcatters coming to the concert at our house on Wednesday?

2) If anyone sees them (in NC?) tell them I would like to hear from them. They do not seem to be checking email on their travels. I would like some idea when to expect them on Wednesday. Since the concert is at 7:30, I would suggest early afternoon, with 5 PM as the latest arrival time. Thanx.

Hi everyone - thanks for all the nice comments and extra millions of thanks to all the wonderful American hosts who made us so welcome. We are now back home, and looking forward to singing at Lewes (Sussex)
