There is a web site dedicated to monologues - mainly homourous.
I can't recall the address but put "monologues" into a search engine such as google, and you should find it.
Chances are that some 'catter will put a blue clicky link before long.
If you use the Mudcat Forum Search, the same word will bring up references and discussions within Mudcat.

On the Forum Home page type 'recitation' into the filter box, reset the age to 'all' and you'll get links to about fifteen previous threads.
