Richard Grainger, an outstanding singer/songwriter and singer of traditional songs, living in Whitby, England, will be performing a sea music concert aboard the 1886 Glasgow-built square-rigger Balclutha, berthed at Hyde Street Pier in San Francisco, on Saturday, October 15, at 8pm. Tickets: $14, SF Maritime National Park Association members, $12. Tickets and information at [phone], Ext. 33. The Sea Music Concert Series is presented by San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, a unit of the National Park Service. Other dates and performers for this series are; Saturday, November 12, Gordon Bok, and Friday, December 9, Jeff Warner.

And a grand lad he is too - He was on at Swinton Folk Club last Monday and stopped at Chez Gnome. He is doing 2 spots in California if I remember rightly.
