Where is Johnny Moynihan?

Anyone know where Johnny Moynihan is now? He was in my opinion a major force in the development of folk music in Ireland, but never had any interest in the commercial side of it so got bypassed by people with less talent and taste.

I think he lives in Galway and still does the occassional gig. I saw him a couple of years ago in Cobh at the Maritmime Song Festival. He did a great set.

I saw him play in Dingle this august.Had a coupla words with him after the gig and he said he was doing something in UK later in the year.

Yes, as mentioned last wek Johnny will be playing at Traditions At The Tiger, Tiger Inn, Long Eaton, Notts on Sunday 16th October 7.30 start.
As of Friday this is the only U.K.gig that I am aware he is doing.
