Subject: RE: Chord Req: Why, Soldiers, Why.... From: Daniel Kelly Date: 12 Jul 20 - 07:35 AM 15 years to late, but I put some chords to this song given its relationship to the recent Alexander Hamilton musical. (my recording) Am How stands the glass around, G Em7 Of which we take no care, my boys? Am How stands the glass around? G Em7 Let wine and mirth abound, C G The trumpets sound; G Em7 The colours they do fly, my boys; C G To fight, kill, or wound, C G Am As you'll be found Am Contented with your chear, my boys, Am G Am On the cold ground. |
