We had Gordon in November 2000, but he showed no interest this time....Oh well....We have Stever Young here in Toledo, Oregon on November 19th..... A fine singer/guitarist from the 70's......(Writer of "Seven Bridges Road"....."Montgomery In The Rain"....Lonesome, Orn'ry & Mean" and others.........Taking December off and Michael Smith is here on January 20th........Frank Of Toledo

Gordon will be in concert aboard the historic ship Balclutha at Hyde Street Pier, SF Maritime National Historical Park, on Saturday, November 12, 8pm. Tickets: $14, and $12 for members of the SF Maritime National Park Association. Tickets can be reserved by calling 415-561-6662, ext. 33. As of today there are only 20 tickets left.

I was very much looking forward to being there, but the 11th is a school holiday so I'm going down to spend the three-day weekend with my daughter. Looks like we'll probably pass each other on 101! Maybe I'll catch him when we go back east in the summer. Say hello for me!

He could have had a number of reasons. Maybe you are too far from the rest of his tour? His wife is with him on this trip, and she has some serious health issues...who knows? I didn't mean to be flip; sometimes I take the old saying, "Brevity is the soul of wit" too far.

Saw him in Encino on Sunday - brilliant. He makes playing that 12-string look so easy, and I thought his choice of material for the gig was just right. Loved the way he engaged the audience, too... he really made it a shared experience.

We had him aboard Balclutha last night, and it was delightful. A beautiful choice of songs, and he had a hundred people transfixed by his stories. And he was very kind and pleasant.If you're lucky enough to have him drop by, don't miss it!
