For those of you who dabble in clawhammer banjo, I have a new website with free clawhammer banjo tabs and instruction. They are posted in the pdf format and should be readable on most computers without any additional "tab" software.

You can access the page by clicking here.

If you would, look over the site and give me some feedback on any improvements I could make.

Thanks...

Very cool, and very timely, for me.

Our cohousing neighborhood has sporadic recitals / talent shows. I've been working on The Coal Owner and the Pitman's Wife with banjo accompaniment stolen from John Roberts (speaking of banjo accompaniment of non-native stuff), but the announcement came that the next event is to be a Bach festival. I'll have to see if I can get the hang of one of your arrangements fast enough (it's in 2 weeks). :-)

One small fix to suggest: it's "minuet" not "menuet".

Becky...I think minuet is English, menuet French, menuett German, minuetto Italian. That is, I'm speaking before reading its context.

Cool site. Thanks

Peace, Mooh.

I've posted the change in title of the Bach piece. Thanks for pointing it out.

If anyone else has any suggestions, or even requests, let me know...

Mike, you may not remember me but I came to the banjo workshop you put on with Cory Webster at Old Deseret Village last summer, with two of my home made banjos. You helped me out immensely to get the hang of drop-thumbing. I'm still working on it but I'm much improved. Thanks very much. I'm glad to see you on the web, and I'll definitely be using your site a lot to try and improve my playing and expand my repertoire.

Jon
