Subject: going to Harmony? From: DADGBE Date: 20 Nov 05 - 01:49 PM Will you be at Camp Harmony? I'd love to meet you all there. For those of you still might not know, it's the winter gathering of the San Francisco Folk Music Club. We gather in the redwoods and party for 5 days - way fun! In keeping with the anarchistic ways of the club, Harmony is a do-it-yourself camp. Anyone can participate, give or take a workshop, dance, sing, eat, etc. Check out the club's web site for details. |

Subject: RE: going to Harmony? From: Mark Cohen Date: 21 Nov 05 - 02:15 AM Likewise. See ya. (Gee, we're starting to sound as parochial as some of the Brits!) Camp Harmony is truly a joyous experience. No fancy concerts, no posh accommodations (but the cabins are heated), just dozens of workshops a day, open concerts and dances at night, and all kinds of acoustic jamming (old-time, Irish, bluegrass, rockabilly, whatever), singing sessions, and general good times for 5 days and nights (though some of us aren't quite up to the all night sessions the way we used to be...). Families with kids are welcome, everybody pitches in with chores, the meals are wonderful (catered by Debbie McClatchy), and the redwoods are awesome. Come for a day or all 5, camp on your own or sleep in a cabin or just visit during the day. It's south of San Francisco, north of Monterey. Hope to see y'all there! Aloha, Mark |

Subject: RE: going to Harmony? From: Joe Offer Date: 22 Nov 05 - 02:06 AM I'll be there, too, DADGBE - but when do I graduate out of floor mopping and into management? -Joe Offer, Chief Floor Mopper, Camp Harmony- |
