Subject: 'He's My Son' -- song and singer? From: Mark Cohen Date: 20 Nov 05 - 11:10 PM Just listening to WUMB's "contemporary folk" stream, and I heard a song that I'd like to learn and learn more about, who wrote it, who sings it (I suspect they're the same person). It's about a young boy, was sung by his mother, clearly a folk musician. The last line of the chorus was: "Makes these songs of mine worth singing, he's my son." There was more: "He's an Elvis fan, wonder which of us he gets that from?" and "He's a NASCAR driver when there's nobody around." Any help? Aloha, Mark |
