Subject: 'He's My Son' -- song and singer?

Just listening to WUMB's "contemporary folk" stream, and I heard a song that I'd like to learn and learn more about, who wrote it, who sings it (I suspect they're the same person). It's about a young boy, was sung by his mother, clearly a folk musician. The last line of the chorus was: "Makes these songs of mine worth singing, he's my son." There was more: "He's an Elvis fan, wonder which of us he gets that from?" and "He's a NASCAR driver when there's nobody around."

Any help?

Thanks for the suggestion, Peace. WUMB told me it's called "Nolan's Song," by Kerri Powers, from the CD "You, Me, and a Redhead." I'll have to check it out. Anybody know her?

Arcadia sing NOLAN'S SONG on their album "Some Songs for You" (2008) – but I don't know whether it's the same song.

Kerri Powers' blog seems to have gone away.
