Once heard a recording (bootleg) of Johnny Moynihan doing a great parody of "Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys":

Mamas, don't let your babies turn into Fleadh Ceol-boys
Don't let 'em bash bodhrans or sleep in their suits
Leave 'em play boxes, concertinas or flutes

Anyone else ever heard this? And if so, have you the full lyrics?

The thread name grabbed me. sounds good. wouldn't mind hearing that myself. I sing a song called the Fleadh Cowboys, not a parody, but nonetheless quite funny. More about what the poor musician has to endure whilst perfoming.
