Why did WW resign as head of the Florida Folk Festival? What's to become of this year's Festival?

The White Springs Folk Club is not associated in any way with either the local park, where the festival is held, or the festival itself.

As for WW's reasons for resigning - I can't speak for her, but as an interested onlooker I can tell you that the main reason seems to have been because of interference from beaurocrats 'up-the-line' who know nothing about folk-music and undermining by a very few disaffected and politically 'savvy' people who think they do know something about folk-music. She wasn't prepared to be the 'punch-ball' between the two.

This year's festival will no doubt take place as usual and the 'usual suspects' will also non doubt moan as usual afterwards!

As far as I know Ted has all the copies and will no doubt distribute them through his "agents" (people like Dave and Bernard) for selling on.
