Any volunteers?

This cookie ?
Is it the upmarket version of an apple for teacher?
Teachers are great and I wont hear a word said against them.
They need all the Holidays they can get and all deserve a pay rise
Especially the ones who have given up a safe middle class career to labour at the chalk face of education.
Well at the chalk face of making sure that common kids go into factories and wealthy ones to university.
He he is there a site dedicated to songs about teaching?
Hmmm maybe there is an opening in the market for that sort of song.
How about a competition to write one Les?
Now fingers in ears and ......

Well it seems that Dante Ferrara is coming in his outfit tomorrow (cod piece an all), so that should be interesting. Source was the Melvyn Prior interview yesterday on Radio Lincolnshire.

Not sure which colours he will be donning.

I am going to guess it will be his yellow and black outfit.

Not sure if he has a claret and blue outfit :-)

Hi Donald hows the bowing arm?
We are not so easy to be rid of mate.
Have been listening to the recording of you all and it brings back happy memories.
You guys are so welcoming and we had a lot of fun
The dreaded return visit seems to keep getting put back I am afraid but if no joy before have got Hols in august for definate.
We were hoping to come January then february huh fat chance as it turns out.
Hope you are all well and in fine voice.
We are a litle upset as had to miss another fabulous night at the Market Raison FC due to flue.
Oh well just got time to feed the chickens before I turn in.
Take care and please pass on our good wishes to all at Flaxton.
Tim and Jen Leaning Grimsby

We were gutted mate.
It just got more obvious as the day went on that it would be foolish to bring ourselves and our coughs to the FC.
I was looking forward especialy to hearing WWW I think they improve every time they play at the FC which is another positive in your favour.
When I went to the Dante Ferrararararara ? web site for a look I was realy taken with the idea of a proper minstrel performing to a modern audience, what a brilliant idea.
There was a bit of a fad for the use of contemporary instuments in music a few years ago that seems to have receded to the background again.
I actually like most types, genres of music if it manages to be original.
I suppose that is what I like about hearing new songs from your army of artistes. As well as the old standards, and hearing old ones for the first time,as I often do at the folk club.
There is a chap called Dougie Chadwick who is a Mud Catter. He plays at the Tap and Spile in Grimsby and without fail he reproduces songs and tunes from the twenties thirties and fourties on his patched up old guitar, and without fail I am moved by his performance and obvious love of what he does.
I never met a nicer more unassuming bloke than Dougie.
I know I am rambling (well Now I dO) but I was trying to express what a special sort of a role you play in bringing music that we would otherwise never get to hear to this area.
Is great to be able to mix with the likes of Strollin and Gwenda and Terry and Jk and Stitherum(Mr&Mrs) and even Plonky,Twangly, flutey and mello cello chick (WWW)
And all the others who I am sure couldnt give a monkeys if I dont mention them here.
To use the cold and unpleasant new speak of this green and pleasant land of ours,
you provide a great "resource" for us music lovers, and hope you continue to do so for a long long time.

8 days to go Tim for Graham Moore and Gill Redmond, so keep on downing those pills and hot toddies. Get your voice in tune, as I hear from a little dicky bird, that you might be partaking of the singaround after the concert :-)

i am not missing three on the trot!
I understand that you have given our tickets to Rockhen thank you very much mate.
Is nice to know we were missed.
I suppose it just seemed a bit more refined without me there?
Jen is dragging me out of me sick bed to go buy another shirt ready for the big event.
Well actualy we have not been shopping at all this week and the fridge freezer is a bit empty looking.
