Subject: Lyr Req: Baptise The Bear - Song Snippet From: voyager Date: 21 Mar 06 - 12:13 PM At the Wayne Henderson/Herb Key concert last night, Herb sang a country tune that ended with the punch line about Preacher "Baptising the Bear". The basic storyline was about a Preacher climbing a tree to avoid the critter. A dialogue with his Maker about sparing the preacher's life. A broken limb, a fight with the bear (using a razor) and a wrestling match that ends in the river. And what a way to "Baptise the Bear". OK Mudcat....take it away. voyager Silver Spring, MD. |
