Desperately trying to find a copy of "The Andy M, Stewart Collection" song book.   I realise it is out of stock at the moment but do you have any ideas of where this could be sourced.   Would love to be able to give my husband a copy for Christmas.

You dredged up quite an old thread. I've been looking for it as well, but I guess it's just too old. The only way to get it these days is to borrow it from the library via ILL (Inter-Library Loan). The ISBN is 0825694205. Ask the librarian if there's a way you can request it from a specific library if you can are really desperate for the 104 page version, but better be quick about it. I see only 2 copies of it left in any libraries across the entire country, but my library didn't give me the option of requesting from a specific location. :(

No idea if this will get through or not, but I am absolutely desperate to find your splendid, incomparable recording of "My Love Is Like A Red, Red Rose" on iTunes. I see it is no longer available, which is absolutely heartbreaking, as I would love to have the entire album of the songs of Robert Burns. NO ONE ELSE can sing this song, however, as you have.

If there is some way to get this album re-released on iTunes, I would be the most grateful fan in the history of fandom. The world needs this album, the poetry and songs of Burns must go on and you are the one to reintroduce them to new generations.

In the meantime, all the best, if this gets through at all.

Andy M. has been in poor health, Sydney. It's doubtful he'll be able to reply to you. Maybe somebody here can find the recording for you. What album is it on?

Others may have different advice, but I would say wait- give his family and friends time to settle the estate.

There is an Andy M. Stewart Website, http://andymstewart.com/. However, that website hasn't been updated since 2009. I tried the contact information on the Website about a year ago, and it didn't work - by that time, Andy was very ill. Eventually, somebody put us in touch with Andy's son, and we were able to get licenses to print his songs in the Rise Again Songbook. Unfortunately, I don't have current contact information for Andy's son.

As michaelr has indicated above, some Andy M. Stewart songs can be licensed in the U.S. through the Harry Fox Agency. However, "Ramblin' Rover" is not listed on their licensing website, http://www.songfile.com/.

If somebody has definitive information on how to license Andy M. Stewart songs in the U.S., U.K., and other nations, please post the information in this thread.

Ask Martin Hadden at Birnam CD... www.birnamcd.com. He'll more than likely know - and Andy's son is his godson, so he'll be able to contact him, too.
