Mine were given to me by Dave Bryant, who most catters will know sadly passed away last year, so they are very treasured possessions.

The badges are indeed treasured possessions. They are symbolic of the mudcat fraternity and can be likened to an international passport to the kind of lifelong friendships that I'm sure wouldn't happen otherwise. Of course the best way to get a badge is to turn up at the Mudcat Yorkshire Gathering on May 19/20 (see seperate Yorkshire Gathering thread)

The best way to get your badge is to send a SAE with 50p for each badge you want plus your Mudcat name written the way it is registered to

The Badger
7 Quarry Road
Norton
Doncaster
DN6 9HS

then you wait......and wait.......and wait .......until he gets round to making them and remembers to put them in the post back to you :-)

Mudcat gets a cut out of each badge we make. We are the 'official' suppliers in the UK.

If you are going to the YG contact us by PM this week and we'll see what we can do about bringing it.

Since Dick and I are going to Whitby in August and will see Badger and Tig there, we can bring home badges that Americans order thru Badger before then.

I think I got one of the very first, hand-delivered to WYOMING by Bill Sables himself and Allan C on their Excellent Adventure. What a Treasure!

One of my regrets is that I did not get one of the Stan Hugill tags that Dave made when Stan passed. He distributed them at Mystic and when they were gone, they were gone.

Fidjit - try asking on the Yorkshire Gathering thread if anyone is going to both - but it would be cheaper to use the postal system from Badger and Tig.
Quack!
Geoff the Duck.

Thanks Geoff the Duck. But,

Raaaaather expensive to just send 50p through the post from Sweden !!
And then there's the S.A.E.

I'll get there though, somehow.
