It was John Faheys music that got me interested in playing guitar and I still love music that borrows/steals from different sources
Have a listen to this
Chris recently did a session on Andy Kershaws radio 3 prog which was spot on and kindly sent me a link to his myspace site. Its the first time I've had a look on Myspace its big innit!

Anyone who likes John Fahey would like Peter Lang who recently quit his day job and started performing again.

Sorry, I can't listen to the music at your link right now, but I might later.

Thanks for the link Shiplap. I grew up a town over from where Fahey grew up and me and my chums used to spend long hours lifting the needle up and down learning his early tunes. His playing is still a touchstone for me and I go back to those tunes when I get in a musical rut and they seem to lift me right up. This guy is good and "Eggs Honey Bread" sounds like it could have been composed by Fahey.vl
