Subject: RE: We Get to Open for Mark Spoelstra! From: Bev and Jerry Date: 27 Jun 06 - 01:44 AM Well, we did it and it was awesome. Mark is better than ever and is one of the cleanest finger style guitar players we have ever heard - even on twelve strings. We were honored to be on the same stage. He's also a fine performer. That is, he is good at engaging the audience. He's beginning to tour again so look for him in your neighborhood - especially if you live in California. Bev and Jerry |

I think good things come to people who live long enough. I actually did a terrible concert last saturday but the audience enjoyed it anyway. How lucky can I be? I am writing now a whole CD of acoustic 12-6 string pieces. I am having sooo much fun creating it. "Origin Jazz Library" records wants to release it, so watch their web site for a release date. I am about half finished. Love you all. Yours sincerely, Mark spoelstra |

Subject: RE: We Get to Open for Mark Spoelstra! From: GUEST Date: 16 Aug 06 - 04:02 PM Mark Spoelstra, I used to listen to your recordings back 40 years ago when I was young and learning how to play. I think I still remember JESSE'S JUMP. Was that written for Jesse Fuller? I used to hang out with him in the East Bay when I lived in Berserkeley back in the early '70's. Glad to hear you're still playing. Take It Easy, But Take It! Mark Ross |
