Hi There

There's a great weekend of music at the Abbey Inn, 98 Pollard Lane, Newlay, Leeds, this weekend Friday 7th and Saturday 8th July, all in aid of St George's Crypt, an excellent local charity that helps homeless people.

On Friday from 7pm we have Tim Moon, Paul Pearson, Ian Hill, West Port and Duncan McFarlane (Acoustic) Band.

On Saurday from Midday we have Tim Light, Gordon Byfield, Peter Taylor, Hodgeheg, Lime Scurvy, Fox & Firminger, Last Night's T.V., Achord, Whitney Gin, Rae Bailey, Joe Clark, Tim Moon (again) Keeper's Fold, Mulberry Blue and Julie Ellison. A fine line-up, I hope you'll agree

All of the above have waived fees and expenses so we can offer the event free of charge! There will be bucket collections for the charity along with tombola etc. but there will be no pressure exerted for people to give. There'll also be a deposit point for any unwanted clothes toiletries or tinned foods that the charity can make use of.

In addition to the music there will be an all day barbecue (veggies catered for) and 34 (yes 34) real ales from tremendous local breweries!

The Abbey is down by the canal between Horsforth and Bramley,(go down Newlay Lane, either way) about 10 minutes walk from bus stops in either direction, a real country pub in the heart of the city. For more details see www.theabbey-inn.co.uk.

It's going to be a magical couple of days and I would love to see you there.

Cheers

Wayne

Sorry but it's unlikely I'll be there this year - but if you make sure you hand out the invites for next year in good time Wayne then I'll do me best to get on down and play and support yr excellent cause.
Have a good 'un one an' all.
M
