Hi everyone,
Thought I'd start a new thread as the festival is well and truly over - and seems to have gone really well. I am home now as Brian mentioned - I'll be recuperating for 3 / 4 months, but at least I can start to look forward.

Sorry I couldn't reply to all the questions on the other thread - but thank you so much for all your lovely comments and best wishes. I've been very emotional since my op, and keep having a good cry - specially when I get all the cards and lovely messages people have sent to me.

Everyone seems to have had a wonderful weekend, so now we can start thinking about the 10th birthday festival next year. We've already got some artists organised - Bill and Dave, Dave and Anni, Strawhead, Wilsons, New Scorpion Band, Scolds Bridle - I want it to be a really big singing event.

So if I missed you this year, please come back in 2007!!

Thanks a lot all of you - wish I could have been at the Wars. It sounds to have been brilliant! Geoff was really pleased with it.

I'm not very good at resting (if Geoff saw I'd written that he'd be on his back having hysterics!!) but I'm going to have to behave in order to get fit again.

Nice to hear you're on the mend Ali. It was a fab fest as usual and the sun shone! I don't think the camp-site ground has ever felt so hard! Can't beleive it's ten years next year; don't time fly when you're 'avin fun. See you next year.

Twiddling my thumbs!!! It hurts now, and everything's hard work, but in a month or so I'll probably be going mad here!!
Geoff's getting very bossy in his old age, making me eat and drink! I had to go back in hospital this week cos my blood sugar levels were too low and I was dehydrated, so I'll have to start doing as I'm told I guess!! For the first time in my life I've no desire to eat anything!!
Many thanks again for the brill messages - it really perks me up. But who were the "strange people" on the info desk? I love it!!!
