There are about 20 tickets left, so anybody wishing too attend that hasn't already reserved their tickets can do so on this thread or by pm. Tickets are priced at £5

The club has a no smoking policy

Doors open at 7:15pm and the concert starts at 8:00pm and finishes around 10pm.

There will be a singaround after the concert until midnight, so anybody attending the concert who wishes to perform in the singaround can collect a numbered card on arrival before the concert. Identical numbers will go into the hat and the numbers drawn to determine the order.

There will be a bar, but you can bring your own food as food will not be available.

Go and see these guys! They are some of the best on the folk scene.

Sadly we can't make it - but only because of a previously arranged commitment. Sorry guys. Have a good time at this great club.

Sorry we (Moses & the Ref) are so far away. A 7 hour round trip really is not on for us but for those who can, make sure you don't miss this.

Saw this trio in the Arts Centre at Warwick Festival this year. Make sure John is asked to sing The grumpy old man song. Give him (the grumpy old man) my love.

Sounds like a great concert - for those who can't make it, 'NOT The White Horse Folk Club' at The Foresters Arms in Beverley has a whole night of John Conolly as their opening guest night of the new season on Monday September 11th, entrance on the door £5. ( see www.whfolk.co.uk ).
But if you can, see Bill and Dave - they've done two wonderful nights at the Beverley Club, and a great performance at this year's Cleethorpes Folk Festival.

Bill Whaley & Dave Fletcher are the guests at the Lewes Arms Folk Club, Lewes, East Sussex, UK on Saturday 21st. October. They are one of the best acts I've seen for years.

Sorry we'll not be able to see/hear the Trio this time. Their sets at Warwick were superb, as ever - I don't tire listening to their delivery....and thanks for reminding me John is in Beverley soon.
