Last chance to see them is this Sunday in Shepherd's Bush, London. Details here...

I heard them from afar (I was in my tent whilst they were on the stage 60ft away) and they sounded fantastic. Apparently there were a lot of hand gestures that I missed, so I'm hoping to get over and see them on Sunday.

They said their tour was a 'secret' so consider me a whistle blower!

The most fabulous and innovative act I've seen for years. Good music good fun and we've played the record non-stop since Towersey

Got my ticket and apparently there are still lots left. It's near the Shepherds Bush tube station and easily reached from many directions.

Doors open at 7.30pm, ring this number 08700 600 100 for a ticket!

Yes weren't they. My hubby was going around singing their song all weekend. Didn't get the record though, not sure if it would work without the visuals.

They did a superb concert at Broadstairs Folk Week and I was privileged to take part in their 'workshop' but they did not get the 'tools' out ;-)
Sadly it was only a 2 hour session but was enough to get the hair standing up on the back of the neck!

Would really like to get involved with a choir like them. Only opportunities around here (Dartford, Kent, UK) appear to be Barbershop and 'formal' choirs.

[Someone at BFW suggested I should start a Mudcat thread to see if there is any interest in getting something like this going in this area. Will do this!]

I'm looking forward to hearing them perform as I only got to a 2hr workshop.. however... it did release my Inner Bass and I've come back from Towersey without my usual sore throat from oversinging... so something worked!

A Conundrum!

How did they get their tool on an aeroplane during the security crisis. I bet there is a story there!

Never heard of snap on tools? If they snap on, then surely they snap off too!

They were brilliant at Broadstairs.

One thing though - extraordinary as they were, I wouldn't have ever described them as "spooky", which I take as meaning ghostly or eerie. Does this word have some distinct Australian meaning?

Had a bit of a shock the week after Towersey... there were all these vintage VWs along the M25 with 'Spooky' widow stickers....

Perhaps there's a secret Spooky VW sect....
