Subject: ramblin jack / Lonnie Dongan From: number 6 Date: 03 Sep 06 - 09:41 AM I've heard there was 'no love lost' between Ramblin Jack Elliot and Lonnie Donegan ... Jack thought skiffle was somewhat of a fraud (or something along the line as that). I saw an interview when Lonnie was asked if he ever met Jack and to which he just replied 'yes' and would not elaborate any further. Anyone know what the source of the malcontent was between the two or if there was really such discontent mutual feelings at all? sIx |
