Jerry Lightfoot passed away yesterday. He was a fixture at
the blues and country rock joints in and around Houston for many years.

Hmmm i dont know ---mayhbe it's me. two sentences for a lifetime of work. I know there were a lot of people who were listening. There were a whole lot of people touched by Lightfoot's search to define the limits of damnation and salvation through music. A lot of people will be forever changed for their walk with Jerry Lightfoot ---- I hope somebody writes about it --- because 2 sentences for a lifetime of endevor ---- i don't know maybe it's me. It aint enuff ---- i am reminded of the "death of Anthony" speech ---- That would be a good to start ---- but it aint enuff ---- hearts out to colleen & skylar --- Jerry has his answer now.

Jerry was a dear family member and I have memories of him, starting when he was a young man of about 14, wailing on his guitar. The guitar has always been his heart and life. He didn't just play music...he played what came out of his very soul. His family will miss him dearly, but he leaves a hole in the music industry that will never be filled. Say Hi to Noah for me Uncle Jerry! We love you! God Bless you Meem and Sandy and Blackie and Mike and Marinell and Colleen and Skylar, and the many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss you always.
