The standard must be pretty good Al.

I heard Dave & Julie's song at MRFC and thought it was very good.

However the Lyrics are the critical thing, so who knows!

Same as you Al, good luck to em all.

Great to see John Blanks in there, especially after the year he has had.

Villan - I think you'll find that no. 7 is Mark Addison/John Blanks.
JB wrote the tune and will be performing the song, but Mark wrote the excellent (IMHO!) lyrics.

Not being critical, just trying to give credit where it's due! :-)

Won't be there, but having heard the songs from Mark Addison/John Blanks and Dave & Julie Evardson, and if they are anything to go by, the standard is very high this year.
Good luck to the two above and also to Phil Brougham.

A 1, 2, 3 would be nice :-)

So, what time does it start, when do the artists need to be there, will there be a chance to soundcheck before the audience is in, do we need to bring any electrical kit (leads etc.)?

I'm asking these questions on here because I've heard ABSOLUTELY BUGGER-ALL from the organisers, and it's not even mentioned on the BBC Radio Lincolnshire website!

Subject: RE: Lincolnshire Folk Song Comp Final 10

Par for the course I'm afraid!
Starts at 7.30pm, bad form to arrive after its started LOL
No kit required and your first song is your soundcheck. That isn't nearly as bad as it sounds as the BBC are very good at that sort of thing.
Generally Artists only get a seat if they've booked one as the theatre is always full.
