He has a place to crash in, nudge nudge!

Be very careful or he will bring the banjo! His FG360 however does sound nice.

The Vernon Arms, Spondon, Derby,Tuesday - brilliant club
The Rugby Club, Ilkeston Wednesday night
alternate Wednesday night, The peacock, Oakerthorpe
also
Acoustic sesssions at
The Staff of Life, Sutton in Ashfield (can be noisy, but usually fun)Monday the Golden Fleece, mansfield Rd Nottingham(big city stuff)
Thursday, The Catholic Club, Fennel Street, Loughborough
Last tuesday in the month   The Old Oak, Kilburn (if session is your thing that's the place)
theres some kind of session at The Irish Centre, Derby in Beckett Street
there are lots of others -- theres one at Ruddington for example whose details escape me, but I know its there somewhere
theres another at Derby Gaol - John Kirkpatrick is doing a gig there soon.
Sunday Night, The Fishponds pub in Matlock
The Cricket Club Bingham, Fri nights
alternate Fri nights The White Lion, Beeston
also there are a lot of acoustic style gigs - which bands equipped with pa systems and rocket launchers attempt
hope this helps

Don't forget all the carol singing just an way up the M1 around Sheffield - e.g. The Royal in Dungworth on Sundays, Castleton on Christmas Eve and other places. Grand Union club in Barrow on Soar(20 miles s. of Nottingham) will be caroling some night in Dec - check their website for date(link from Tigerfolk site given above). Would be nice to see you at the Tiger on Jan7th.

"alternate Fri nights The White Lion, Beeston"

..............

The one in Ruddington has closed and now at the "Willow Tree" Gamstom I think it's the first Tuesday every month

The "Second Time Round" at the White Lion in Beeston has now moved next door to "The Star" and yes it's every alternate Fri nights

Nottingham central "Trip to Jerusalem" - not folk but used to be story telling - if the pub has survived well worth a Trip to Jerusalem just for the looking.
