Aren't Lunasa just the best traditional band on the planet at the moment – I've just been listening to them and bought the 2 CD's I had missing from my collection. I can safely say there is not a bad track on any of them – well thought out, well arranged and fresh but still true to the tradition. Anyone recommend any other artists in this mould that I've missed.

They are very good. How about Teada? I think they run neck and neck with Lunasa for the title.

I have not heard of Teada but had a look on thier website and a listen - very good - steady traditional sound - I think its the bass on Lunasa which swings it.

Good to hear they're still going, though I'm surprised I haven't heard more about them. Saw them around the year 2000 & was very impressed!
