The Waltham Abbey Folk Club Christmas Party will take place tomorrow, Monday 18th December at 8:00 p.m. at The Royal British Legion, Brooker Road, Waltham Abbey, Essex.

The main part of the entertaining will be the Chingford Morris Men, who will be dancing, mumming and playing for social dancing, as well as plenty of songs, ditties, poems from the floor.

Please bring something for the food table.

Festival love to you all,

Lynne Heraud

Its a cheap bar as well (if you don't drive of course)
Or they'll pull you up the Essex police force
If not, the Hertfordshire or the Met
A bus or cab, is a safer bet
Should you drink and drive, I'm afraid
They can tell if it isn't lemonade

Simon (over the limit)

I think these are pictures from last year's party. Graphic stuff.

I hope to be there. It's a hoot.

Yes, come and partake
Of bread, cheese and cake
Have a dance, have a sing
And do your festive thing

Seasons Greetings to you all.

Have a nice one, Simon, Pat and Lynne
Over here the ice is still rather thin
Carols have been sung and the Turkeys in
Soon we'll all be off a wassailng.

How's That?

LBW

LBW?

Let Them Bloody Wait.

Wassail

Chas

"And Oh! the festive fun and frolics will begin,
When partaken have they of tonic, laced with gin.
With dancing and singing like ne'er seen seen before,
Until they all collapse from over-indulgence and exhaustion upon the floor." - Wm T MacGonagall, 1889
