I have got myself involved in a local film makers project on his Grand Fathers exploits during the early part of WWII.
Serves me right for wandering around the village with a mandolin in me hand!
I need to play Laura's Theme from the Dr. Zhivago sp? film.
I vaguely remember it but does anyone have the dots for it please?
ABC format would be good but anything else would help.

Also known as "Somewhere My Love", it is under copyright. You can buy the sheet music online as a digital download.

This is probably one of the 3 or 4 songs from 1960 or later that are requested by residents of the retirement communities where I do music.   It seems to have caught a lot of people's fancy.   
To me, it's one of those tunes that, when I first heard it, sounded like I'd known it all my life.

Yes--this is one of those tunes that everyone, at least of a certain age, seems to know and love--

I once played a stolling Russian gypsy in one of those "Murder Mystery" Weekends--my partner and I basically played this, and "Those Were the Days" over and over again for every table at the dinner banquets--

By the way, your filmaker friend will have to get clearance to use this--if you contact the music publisher directly for the permission, they can often provide you with the notation, and it is generally more accurate than a printed arrangement--
