Subject: Folklore: Delia Murphy programmes on RTE Radio From: GUEST,JTT Date: 21 Jan 07 - 05:45 AM People might be interested to listen to two radio programmes from RTE's archives about traditional singer Delia Murphy. They'll only be online briefly, but today's (21/1/7) and last Sunday's programmes from John Bowman's archive programme Bowman Sunday Morning feature Delia Murphy singing and various friends talking about her. You can download the programmes and listen to them, but they don't stay online for long. |

If you don't know about this, and haven't read Aidan O'Hara's excellent biography 'I'll live till I die' don't miss it... The first programme was about her singing career. I'm not sure if these are repeats of those above, 14 years ago, but if you haven't heard of Delia Murphy, or even if you have, they're well worth a listen. |
