Wilson Sapphire????

Allo everybody....

                Looking back through my 1984 diary, I had a restringing/tuning session with a Wilson Sapphire....Apparently I wasn't wonderfully impressed.... In fact, I was so impressed I can't even remember what it was!!!   (Shame of it!!) Anyone familiar with the marque?? I can only presume it was a guitar of some kind....

'Twas a Bass Guitar Spot.Had you kept hold of it you could have bought yourself something nice.
'cos these days,in good condition,they change hands for 1200 Quid and upwards.

          That was quick...Thanks for info... £1200 !!!!!!! What would I have been doin wi' a bass, I wonder?? Mebbe it belonged to one of my kids??? I still have no recollection...

It's Kwayte allrayte.BTW apparently Wilson Sapphire was also a type of Tennis Racket.Might it have been one of those that you were having restringed? :0)
