Welcome home, Joe Offer

It has come to my attention that a certain Prodigal son has finally come home. I had just joined and was keyed up to meet this giant of the Mudcat Community (I'd even seen his picture as he surveyed his realm from the front of his lighthouse, when he disappeared. Now let me formally and humbally say welcome back Joe. I hope that we get together-online-soon as you seem to be a nice guy.( better than that catspaw geezer, who for some reason thinks he's humerous).

Alistair

Nothing to get...he's probably serious. You know...the gray whale thing on the Califonia coast?

Beats the hell out of years passed when Joe counted the grunion.

This is the season for grey whale migration. My family and I went down to Depoe Bay last week and out of the harbor on a fishing boat. (Which is an experience in itself, right Art?)(who had a bookstore there for several years) We saw three whales, and one came within 10 yards of our boat. Wow! It's an amazing experience, unless of course you are prone to mal de mer.
Joe's taking some kids to Pt. Reyes, north of San Francisco, to see that same migration.
Blessings,
Barbara

Saw a humpback whale with her calf just off Los Arcos at Puert Vallarta last week. They were breaching and smacking back into the surface. What a sight!

But guys, you're missing the whole point of this: we need to clone Joe so someone can take over when he's gone. Who else do we have who can straighten out messed up lyrics and dump redundant posts and establish links? Do you think we could find the server with the Joe Offer program on it and just hit ***duplicate***? --seed

Do you intimate that counting grunion is not a serious affair??
