BS: Sportsmens Clothing

What is happening in the world of sport. In my beloved sport Rugby League the officials are made to wear the most offensive to the eye strips. Steve Ganson in last nights match dressed in a 'pukey' coloured strip of a shade I have only seen after my mate 'Chalky' threw up after downing 6 Rum and Blackcurrants,Ganson looked like a 'Pox Doctors Clerk'

Cricketers now turn out in what appears to be Rainbow shades of Pyjama's.

But the ones who take the first prize are Soccer goalkeepers,OMG some of them look for all the world like "Knife Throwers Assistants'

Lets get back to the good old days were Black and Blue were the Bruises, and Red meant
Blood

I don't know about all that, but the worst thing for me that has been introduced is the advertising boards that go round the edges of the pitch. its not so much the advert as the fact that the bloody thing is scrolling and moving about and it is really off putting. I do wish they would stop that. It spoils the game.

Howveer i do agree with the things you say jimlad.

They should all adopt the dress codes of the classic Greek sporting events.

All them anatomical specimens flopping around? Right...talk about distracting from the game! And what do you do in tennis mixed doubles? And coed bobsledding could lead to, well, frigidity. Skiing would be troublesome, at best, and ski jumping downright frightening. Fencing, well, the least said the better. Curling would curl your toes, and hockey would be disgusting. It would, however, give a whole new meaning to men's "ball" games....

Story goes that a well-endowed woman bronc rider was on a bad horse when her "upper story" slipped free from its restraining garments. When the pickup finally got her off the horse she thanked him profusely and remarked that she was very afraid that before she could be taken off she'd have beaten her own brains out.

You might want to think twice about that, or end up like this poor fellow.
